On November 18, 2020, at 7 o'clock in the Catholic University of Korea (CUK) Nicholls Hall 301, the 2020 candidate election pledge briefing session was held. The candidate election pledge briefing session was conducted into two sections.
Because of the COVID-19, only a few students were possible to participate in this briefing session, and it proceeds in a way that the election management committee answer the questions from the CUK students.
The candidate election pledge briefing session was divided into two parts. In the first briefing session, supporters and candidates had a speech about their pledges. In the second session, there were question and answer sessions.
The candidate for the presidency of the CUK general Student Association was Daham's(다함) Jang Hal-sol and Kim Chan-woo. Their main pledge was to establish a democratic presidential election system in CUK. And Sang-Sang’s(상상) Yang Chan-min candidate said that their core pledge is the formation of a consultative body with academic societies and departments.
Also, Kim Ki-jin of chorong (초롱) said that they want to hold a flexible cultural event like this year's League of Legends (LOL) competition. Lee Ji-won of gayagmansaseong (가약만사성) announced that they pledge to increase communication through the existing kakao talk channel and anonymous suggestion box. Lastly, Heo Ji-eun of Haesung (해성) said that their key pledge is to expand mutual communication between elder and junior students.
